Pathway detailsZakher / Gafat Al Nayyar, United Arab Emirates
A British school in Al Ain, with Nursery through Year 13. Early years use EYFS, primary follows British Key Stage targets, and senior pupils progress through GCSE courses to A levels.
For 2026/27 first-time school entrants, UAE MoE requires age 3 for Pre-KG/FS1, 4 for KG1/FS2, 5 for KG2/Year 1 and 6 for Grade 1/Year 2 by 31 December 2026. Existing pupils are unaffected; transfers are placed using their last completed grade and approved equivalencies. The school’s older 2024 admissions policy uses 31 August; this conflicts with the current first-entry regulatory rule, so confirm school placement with admissions.
