Foundation Stage follows the English National Curriculum-based school programme for ages 3–5.
Pathway detailsAl Muwaiji, United Arab Emirates
An Al Ain school providing British education for ages 3–18. Its published curriculum progresses from Foundation Stage through GCSE to AS and A levels.
For 2026/27 first-time school entrants, UAE MoE requires age 3 for Pre-KG/FS1, 4 for KG1/FS2, 5 for KG2/Year 1 and 6 for Grade 1/Year 2 by 31 December 2026. Existing pupils are unaffected; transfers are placed using their last completed grade and approved equivalencies. AAESS’s application page and linked 2024 ADEK policy still use 31 August; this conflicts with the current first-entry rule, so confirm school placement with admissions.
